The end of the year is rapidly approaching and we have LOTS going on with RAP!! Please take some time to review all of our upcoming events and find out how you can participate!

ANNUAL SPRING BASKET RAFFLE Our goal: To support our children and staff. The money we raise will go directly to the Technology and Anual Fund. Last year we gave the school $3200.00. Our goal this year is to raise $4500.00 or beyond. We will create theme baskets for each grade, the baskets will be raffled off. Drawing will be held on Tuesday, May 29th! TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK IS COMING!!! During the week of May 7 – 11 we will show our teachers and staff just how much we love them. RAP and the Sunshine Club have planned a week of surprises and treats for our beloved ARS staff. This year, our goal is to do more, spend less of RAP’s $, and have more parent participation. CLOSING CEREMONIES FOR GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERS Our ARS Closing ceremonies are a very important part of our end of the year festivities. One of the ways that we show appreciation to our Gold and Siler RAP Members is by offereing them preferred seating at the ceremony. To ensure that we have enough seating available, we are requesting an RSVP for those who would like to take advantage of this perk. Gold Members receive 4 seats, while Silver members receive 2. Please take a moment to fill out this RSVP form to let us know if you be using your preferred seats. Thank you! RSVP HERE!
RAP FIELD DAY T-SHIRTS The Renaissance Association of Parents assists the elementary school each year with the end of school field day celebration. RAP facilitates the ordering and delivery of field day T- shirts, color coded by class. The price charged by RAP for the T-shirt covers the cost of the shirt, the inflatable games at field day, and the porta-john facility charges. This is not a RAP fundraiser. We kindly ask that you participate in the purchase of the shirt for your child, which may be worn as a uniform t-shirt after the event. Additional shirts may be purchased for parents and siblings. 	Welcome to RAP Online, the official website of the Renaissance Association of Parents. RAP is the PTO organization of American Renaissance School in Statesville NC. We especially welcome all of the new families to ARS this year, whom we invite to download the RAP New Families Welcome Letter. RAP Online will replace the RAP-Lines we used to send out monthly. Our most current information will be listed here and on RAP's Facebook page. Just scroll down and use the links on the left to learn about us and our activities to raise money for American Renaissance School. RAP has several opportunities for our families to build relationships with each other, including great rates to Great Wolf Lodge and Disney!! Check out the Community Building page for more detail! Our Home for the Holidays basket raffle raised over $500 for Claire and Robin! Thank you for your participation. Congratulations to the winner, Nicole Marsh! RAP was thrilled to be able to give ARS a check for $12,500 at the end of January!! What a great first half of the year! We still have plenty to do, but we want to thank you for all you hard work and donations.

Having a child at ARS automatically makes you a member of the Renaissance Association of Parents. You have already proven your desire for the best possible education for your child by enrolling here. We ask that you continue those efforts by becoming more involved both physically as a volunteer and financially as you are able.

RAP is offering three different levels of membership this year: $5, $30 (silver) and $60 (gold). Our $5 level is the least we ask from all school parents to pay to support RAP activities. Our new silver and gold memberships have the following benefits:
